Understanding the Importance of Executive Function & Self Regulation in Early Childhood Education: Through this training, early childhood learns the meaning of executive functions—the mental processes that enable children to plan, focus attention, remember instructions, and juggle multiple tasks successfully. Through this workshop, the participant will learn the components of executive functions as well as identify activities and teaching strategies that can easily be implemented in an early childhood program to strengthen children’s executive functions.
