Supporting Children As They Develop Friendships & Engage in Play

“As children learn to play alongside each other, they may face some challenges.  This course address the developmental stages of friendship.  Additionally, participants will learn strategies for addressing aggression (e.g., instrumental, physical, relational, etc.), cliques (“you cant play with us!), play leaders, overly deferential children, and isolated children.   This is a competent level training.  Prerequisite Knowledge Required: An understanding of the developmental appropriate prosocial behaviors for young children.”
