Overview
This bundle includes the following classes: Admin Meds, CPR/First Aid, Emergency Preparedness, Safe Sleep Practices, and SIDS Awareness Training . This bundle cannot be split between students. The dates are as firm. Swapping of dates is not allowed.
Office of Child Care Approved Medication Administration Training (MAT) Course: The Office of Child Care requires this six-hour training. Because medication can only be administered to a child in care by an individual who has completed the approved training, all programs must have at least one medication administration-trained person on-site. This course teaches participants to administer medications, store them properly, and accurately complete record keeping. Participants are required to pass the post-exam and skills check.
This is a hybrid Class.
The first part of the class takes place by Zoom.

Hybrid CPR/First Aid Class
Blended CPR All Ages & Pediatric First Aid Class. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner online, followed by a hands-on skills session. The hands-on skills session is completed in person. Price of the class includes access to the online portion of the course and the in-person skills session.

Self-Paced Emergency Preparedness Class
COK Hours: 6 (3 Health, Safety, Nutrition & 3 Professionalism) This 6-hour course is designed to meet the requirements of the Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Child Care for Emergency Preparedness. Students will develop a comprehensive plan to follow when a disaster or emergency occurs. They have 180 days to complete the Emergency Preparedness Class.
Self-Paced Safe Sleep Practices: SIDS Awareness Training
Participants will learn about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and strategies for creating safe sleep environments as a preventative measure. Students will have 180 days to complete the Emergency Preparedness Class.
