Students can complete the courses listed on this page at their own pace, as there are no instructor-led sessions. Once registered, students will have 180 days to finish the course. Please note that these courses are nonrefundable and non-transferable. We will email you the login information within 24 hours.

Mentoring and coaching are increasingly seen as essential for supporting teachers at any stage of their careers. Through this course, participants will learn the distinctions and commonalities between coaching and mentoring. Additionally, participants will determine how these powerful interactions can improve both teacher and program practice. This course meets the Maryland State Department of Education’s requirements for 45-Hour Coaching and Mentoring Credential. This is a proficient level course and includes a lot of writing. Prerequisites: Leadership experience in early childhood education. Note: Participants must do practical exercised that engage a classroom teacher/family child care provider.

This is a fully self-paced class. There are no instructor led meetings. Students have six-months to complete the course at his/her own pace.
