COK Hours: 2 (Special Needs)
This course helps early childhood teachers understand visual supports and their importance for communication and learning. It teaches practical ways to use these supports in different early learning settings. Teachers will learn to choose, make, and use different visual supports to help young children understand better, become more independent, and show positive behavior. This includes children with different learning needs, such as those with disabilities or learning English.
