Pre-K Grant Focused Training

Training Created Specifically For Pre-K Expansion Classrooms

As a Pre-K Grant awardee, your program is committed to excellence and professional growth. To support this mission, the grant stipulates that all instructional staff—including both teachers and assistant teachers—must complete at least 20 hours of professional learning per grant year.

The courses in this section are specifically designed to meet this mandate and the requirement to provide high-quality training directly aligned with the following Maryland Blueprint priorities:

  • High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM): Learn to implement your curriculum with fidelity and maximize your classroom resources for peak student engagement.

  • CLASS® (Teacher-Child Interactions): Master the interactions that foster a supportive, responsive, and cognitively stimulating environment.

  • Early Mathematics: Build foundational numeracy and logical thinking skills through engaging, age-appropriate instructional strategies.

  • School Readiness & Literacy: Implement the Science of Reading to ensure every child has the linguistic and phonetic foundation needed for kindergarten. To ensure a cohesive pedagogical foundation, please ensure teachers take this series in sequential order.

We have also included topics that can be found on the IQR form.

Our training sessions bridge the gap between grant compliance and classroom excellence, ensuring your staff is equipped to drive measurable child outcomes.
